Hennepin County Residents Directory is an independently operated reference. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and historical directory collections relating to Hennepin County, Minnesota. No government record is hosted here, and no government office, court, library, or custodian is affiliated with the service.
2. Rules for Using This Site
Use the service and any linked material only for lawful purposes. You may not use them to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
The service is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing published here or returned by a linked search tool is a consumer report. It may not be used to evaluate eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose.

Minnesota law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-government-data access is separately governed by the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minn. Stat. ch. 13, including §§13.03 and 13.04, and by any more specific confidentiality statute.
12. Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
